Together with Simon Nieuweboer, Bart Arts, Lara Hekma Wierda, Joep Vossen, Douwe Teusink and Pim Visser we have started a light-experience company. We were all ID students with a passion for light and decided to build a cool installation for Glow 2022. However, plans changed and we ended up at Into The Woods, a big festival. With the materials we got here, we decided to build modular light bars. This was a success and ever since we have exhibited at many events among which the new years drink of the municipality, GLOW at 100 Watt, several drinks at Lucid, FUUT, some parties with Puin and a collaboration with Breek.
Creativity and Aesthetics
The lights are meant to enhance the experience of an event. By considering the space and hanging the lamps accordingly, we try to immerse the visitor in the event.
Business and Entrepreneurship
I learned valuable skills in setting up a company, reaching out to potential customers, and managing budgets. I have had meetings with the KVK about the best ways to set up our company and had many meetings with parties involved

Technology and Realisation
Having to build the bars, I have learned a lot about hardware installation. Our group made our own powerboxes and they taught me a lot about how and why you have to do certain things. My soldering skills have also improved significantly.
